truth. At Fillmore East is what catapulted them and led to the Beginnings rerelease. the ABB’s debut was somewhat undercooked and Idlewild South was a little too polished to catch on in the market.

I appreciated the mention of Larry Reinhardt. He's an overlooked guitarist who had some great chops, as evidenced on the Captain Beyond debut album. Thanks also for the interesting details of the ABB's beginning! Great stuff here!
